The E-M Family

Designers.  That is what S & L are.  I know how creative they are, and how much work they do for their jobs.  Being a Certified Interior Designer myself, I was a tad nervous to take photos of this adorable family because I knew they had an eye for things.  Shannon designed the dress I wore for our family photos back in August - check out her store, Mixie.  Love, love, love the designs!!

S & L chose such a great location in Newport Beach.  We started out in the coffee shop because it had been cold and raining.  Mr. Milo is such a character, we had a lot of fun together.  And Miss Penny - the biggest blue eyes I've seen!  Thanks so much for asking me to capture your family, S & L!! xoxo

First, we have Milo enjoying his hot cocoa.

The R Family

When I first met B & C, they were frazzled new parents of infant twins.  Oh, how I felt for them because I knew exactly what they were going through!  But, look at them now!  Logan and Ellanie are now 1 and so much fun!  Well, except Ellanie is not a big fan of her brother... but, she was very tolerant of her brother this day and was perfect!  Love this beautiful family and it was so fun collaborating with B because she loves photography as well.  So, let's get to the photos - thanks for a fun time B & C!! xoxo

My First Wedding - Angie + Freddie

I was so honored when Jennifer, of Jennifer Ho Photography asked me to 2nd shoot for a wedding!!  I couldn't be more excited.  It was my first wedding and I just wanted to see what shooting a wedding was all about.  I was nervous, thrilled, and had no idea what to expect.  It was a day filled with trying to coordinate getting ready, driving to and from OC to LA twice in traffic, and figuring out when I can nurse the baby.  But, it all worked out and I learned so much.  Mostly, how tiring a wedding is!!  Man, I was achy the next day!

Angie and Freddie were such an adorable couple and you could see the love they had for each other.  I loved the ceremony location at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs... so beautiful and lush.  And what a fun reception!  I am so happy to have checked off doing my first wedding on my list.  Thanks Jennifer, Angie & Freddie!  xo
